Review summary
Changing the itinerary did not add to the positive input. The physical ship is extremely attractive, and some members of reception and their superiors were extremely helpful. The price of water was outrageous. The fact that water or juice was not accessible from the pool was inconvenient. One had to go into the buffet area to get water. The ship also pushed crackets to win monetary prizes prior to each performance of the evening. On a positive note, the singers of the show were the best I have ever seen. Without the Las Vegas costuming, they mesmerized the audience. I will most likely not book an NCL cruise again. This was the second, and certainly does not compare to other cruise lines.Ports of call
Pros: The formal dining room was super
Cons: Nickel and diming guests for water and juice
Recommends Norwegian Star? No.
