A clean and well run ship with minor irritants.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All food was good, with good service. Portion size was good in the standard dining rooms. Did not think the upscale dining rooms were a good value even though the food was excellent. Loved the freestyle format made life easy!!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
At best average. (we did have a bonus of the Regis show which went off very well). Most shows were too loud and difficult to follow some presenters. Sorry I tried to follow one trivia showand could not understan half the person said, just too heavy an accent

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very commendable. Every person including those in the ship operations were courteous and spontaneous in their greetings. You must have a good traing program with genuine buy-in from the staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Missed relaxing common areas, inside where one could see the world go by or read etc. Very clean and reasonably easy to get around

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very good, with excellent service. We had plenty of room for all our luggage etc.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
The best stop we made by far. Cleaner and easy to get around.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

3 out of 5
It was Mexico. Our trip to the tile factory and the Tequila farm was quite good but note that this group did not take us to the NCL approved stores for that part of the excursion.

Pros: Freestyle dining was a huge plus!!!!!

Cons: Most shows were way too noisy and brash. Had problems hearing the words a lot of the time

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!
