Decent, but lots of hidden costs

Sail Date: March 21, 2009

Room Type: Inside

The cruise was good, but there was not a lot of things to do on the ship without paying large amounts of money. Anything that was worth doing or seeing on the boat was at night and clumped together. During the day all there was do do was drink, lose money at the casino, and play $60 a game bingo. Also, the ride back was very bumpy.

Pros: Drink Classes and Excursions

Cons: Everything costs a large ammount of money and there were lots of hidden fees.

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Very nice in terms of condition.
Food and Dining
Most activities on the boat had fees associated with them that were borderline unreasonable. Anything that was free and worth seeing was all at night, so during the day there was almost no choice but to spend money on booze or these priced activites.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Mazatlan, Mexico

Don't Miss: We did the Salsa & Salsa excursion and it was amazing.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
