From our first day on the ship, we were upset to find out that the porters either lost or stole our Bose headphones (valued near $500.00). Although the ship was apologetic, they also said not to "trust" the porters with expensive items such as those next time. So if NCL would actually say that about thier own employees, then why hire them and put us passengers at risk of losing valuable items? Secondly, we were disappointed to find out the great deals others got (along with amazing upgrades and ship credits) from the amount that we paid. Some had much better rooms for a fraction of the cost that we paid. These two issues combined busted our bubble and kinda messed up the rest of the cruise for us.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The 24 hour dining was nothing more than school cafeteria food. It was small and normally very busy with no place to sit. All of the main dining areas had very specific dining hours. Breakfast before 9:00 or dinner before 9:30...or you miss it.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Entertainment such as a juggler, magician, and musical was great. There was a comedy show (twice) that wasn't good at all.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The ship staff seemed really friendly, but tired. You could almost tell by the lack of excitement that they were ready for a vacation (or for the holidays) themselves. It was only a week before Christmas which would explain the "burn out" attitude.

Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
I would much rather prefer a full or queen bed rather than two twins put together. One of us always ended up in the "crack" which made for a very restless night.
Very pretty place. We didn't do much, but did pay an individual to take us around on a boat tour. It was supposed to be round trip with a pick-up after relaxing on the beach. We were never picked back up and had to pay someome to get us back to the ship. I don't recommend paying just "anyone" of a tour.
