Review summary

We enjoyed the freestyle dining, coming and going when we pleased. The variety on the buffet was great. There are 2 sit down restaurants, with full service, at no additional charges, the specialty restaurants had a great variety but had no mexican food. Plenty of activities going on if you were up to it. The spa/fitness center was beautiful and staff very helpful. We asked for a few extra's from our housekeeping staff which they provided immediately. Housekeeping was very efficient. There didn't seem to be enough jacuzzi space on the ship it was always full.

we didn't do anything here, but the town is quiete with very few shops, more of a place for us to get off the ship and walk around before your day at sea. They didn't have any diet mt. dew. The ship only serves coke products

Skagway, Alaska

we went snorkeling which was different, being put in the wetsuits from head to toe, they are very tight around the neck so if you don't like tight spaces probably not for you. The water was clear and we saw alot of different star fish, but if you don't know what your looking for you might not see much but the small fish swimming around you. The town has alot of shopping, we didn't try any restaurants

Juneau, Alaska

Taking the helicopter to the glaciers and landing on them, next to the dog camp. The sightseeing from this angle is unbelievable, the mushing of the dogs, was alot of fun along with the interaction with the animals afterwards. This is an expense shore excursion but well worth your time and expense.

Pros: the pleasant staff

Cons: not enough jacuzzi space
