A great experience

Sail Date: July 01, 2007

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

We were inmpressed with the size of the ship and the number of restaurants on board such that we didn't need to dine in the same restaurant more than once. The freestyle dining is a great concept. We were also impressed with the friendliness of the crew and the international variety of the crew members. Evrything ran like clockwork.

Pros: The ease of booking all the shore excursions on the internet well in advance

Cons: The size of my bill at the end of the cruise

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!

A beautifully decorated ship with excellent variety of outlets.
Service and Staff
Great people who were very friendly.
Juneau, Alaska
Give to gold panning a miss.

Saw a bear 10 feet awat while rafting
Ketchikan, Alaska

Don't Miss: Kyaking was very peaceful and enjoyable.
Prince Rupert, British Columbia
Whale watching expensive for how little we saw of the whales
