Problems with cruise

Sail Date: February 26, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The entire crew was very nice, but we had nothing but probelms with this trip. We were straned at the airport for 1 1/2 hours, waited 3 hours to get on the ship once we did arrive at port and it went down hill from there.

Pros: Staff was very nice

Cons: Did not offer the iterary that was promised

Recommends Norwegian Star? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Did not care for the free style dinning, you had to make reservations or you often could not eat at one of the two fine dinning rooms becuase they were filled.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a leak in one of our staterooms and had to move for a night, ended up being for the entire cruise. Not happy.
Service and Staff
Everyone was very nice
Entertainment
Really enjoied most of the shows!
Children's Programs
Teen workers were great!
Acapulco, Mexico
This port was cancelled once we boarded. We were very unhappy! We were not told ahead of time
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
This port was easy and fun. Just wish we had more than half a day here
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Would have liked to be able to get into town easier
