I would say the ship was good or better in the public areas. Balcony had some rust and bare steel on celing. Ship was easy to get arround and well marked.

This cruise line is for married couples with young kids or no kids and the retirees. This wasn't for us, we have a 10 yr. old and there was nothing for him to do, he was bored. We did love the ports of call.

This ship is a little older, but still has plenty to offer regardless of your interests. Everything was as clean as you could expect and the rooms and common areas were in excellent condition. There are plenty of dining options to choose from, though many feature an additional charge, so we stayed away from those. I wasn't disappointed in the standard dining options, though. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly delicious and diverse in its offerings and the Windows restaurant was superb night after night for dinner. The staff in the dining areas were always polite and helpful and amazingly good at remembering names and faces. There was always plenty of entertainment in the evenings, though we tended to roam the decks on our own and just take in the sea air. We had a wonderful trip.

A very nice trip with the family, but we are having difficulty locating some items that were purchased in Roatan. Dorotea purchased 2 boxes of Retin A and they did not come back with our baggage.

This cruise was fine. Nice staff. Acceptable accommodations. Only our second cruise ever and a once-in-a-lifetime event as a family, so a bit disappointed in the entertainment and the extra costs involved, specifically the price of pop ($7 per person PER DAY for unlimited, or $2 per can, even at dinner) and the mandatory tip ($12 per person per day - $420 for our family), and parking ($112 for 7 days).

The Spirit was happy and WOW all the way! We felt like royalty at times, the service was excellent, and it did not seem we were part of a big crowd..even though we were!

We had a very nice time. The freestyle concept is ok I guess although it seemed as though we were paying additional money for food we used to get free on other cruises. The food in the free dining rooms was as good a the upgraded restaurants with few exceptions.

Older, smaller ship but well maintained. We liked the freestyle dining. The staterooms were the smallest we've seen. Only one over-head bunk, so we had to use a trundle for our 4th person, which left no floor space. The bathroom was a good size, although the tile in the shower needed replacing. Not a lot of closet/dresser space, but we were able to (tightly) fit everything for a family of four. The shows were very good. The pool area was lots of fun and we enjoyed the live music.

We sailed on the Norwegian Spirit and had a wonderful, relaxing week. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was spacious enough for us to store everything, including all of our dive equipment. We had delicious meals every night, including lobster and steak, and there was always something to do. We booked the crusie so that we could go scuba diving at each of the four ports included on this seven day cruise, but enjoyed so much more. Thank you!

The ship was clean, easy to navigate. The ports of call were definitely the best part of the trip. The days at sea got a bit boring.

staterooms very small, the ship was not happy feeling, loved the library, not accomodating to our needs, sheets not changed for the whole week, they had a blue spot on them and it never changed

If you don't really want to see reality in the locations you visit, maybe cruising is for you. We didn't care for the crowds, we like to meet "real" locals, not the American version of locals. Waht you get in the ports does not represent the country very well. They are salesmen and women, no more, no less. The ship itself seemed dated. It was clean, but the decor seemed like it belonged back in the 80's. The majority of the time we had to repeat ouselves or the crew had to repeat themselves a few times to understand each other. Never will we cruise again. Not a bad experience, just boring and disappointing.
