Review summary

We were promised discounts on 3 shore excursions, per person, (2 people in cabin = 6 discounts) by . Norwegian said no, it was per cabin. My mother and sister were only given 3 discounts. Myself and my husband were given 4 discounts?

There were a few outstanding crew members. There were also several minor requests we made that were forgotten or ignored, which were very irritating.

We'll sail with another cruise line, next time!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Sorry to see extra charge for lobster. Used to be served once during the week in the main dining rooms.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Enjoyed the team trivia games. Onboard shopping was a joke.

Service and Staff

waitress fabulous!

Ship Quality

rooms were smaller that other cruise lines I've been on.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room stewards (not just ours) seemed to only be available for a few hours at certain times. If I was already in my room by then it didn't get made up. They should have more hours that they are available to clean the rooms.

Ok - we just got off a 7 day to Bahamas in the Breakaway. We got 4 specialty restaurant meals as a perk and also got $50.00 per shore excursion per cabin. We got a choice of two perks because we booked when there was a Black Friday special.

What I posted for dining is the current offer. I don't know what was offered when you booked.

now I feel lied too, because I was told my dining was for 4 nights on a 7 night cruise. smh! I can't wait to go back to Royal

It sounds like maybe there was confusion with what was offered with the dining package vs. the excursions. This is what's offered for dining... The first two guests receive 3 meals on 5- to 9-night cruises and 4 meals on 10+ night sailings in our award-winning specialty restaurants.

You do not get the excursion money back. if you don't use it in each port you lose it. it is not combinable to all one port either. use it or lose it

When ever you are discussing perks, always ask to define those perks and they will happily explain; e.g. Excursions (up to a total of four per cruise per cabin). The food and beverage packages have an 18 percent service charge. I was told by two NCL employees, if you choose the excursion package, what excursions you did not use ($50. Value X 4), you will get $ back at the end of your cruise.

Yup. One per cabin. That is why we chose the dining package.

No, you just THOUGHT it was "per person". you heard what you wanted to hear.

This is why I cruise Disney. No confusion, and outstanding guest service and always with a smile!

It is per cabin not per person. it is clearly stated on the website
