Enjoyed the cruise and the ports

Sail Date: April 15, 2015

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

Ship has a very smart layout and the separation of restaurants bars and other entertainment venues is very well done, so that you don't feel the crowd except at the pool and at the buffet breakfast.  Food in the specialty restaurants was truly exceptional.  Food in the main dining room was OK.

Crew was friendly and helpful if a bit overzealous in distributing disinfectant spray: ,Washy Washy Happy Happy still rings in my ears

Ports were great even if the weather wasn't as warm as we hoped.

Entertainment in the main theater was hit or miss, more misses than hits but the talent in the smaller venues was very good and the settings intimate.

Ship Quality
not too big, not too small.
Food and Dining
specialty dining great, rest OK
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
good crew to passenger ratio
stick to the smaller venues
Children's Programs
not a lot of kids for our kids to play with but that isnt the cruiselines fault
Onboard Activities
library was picked over by the time we got there. Bingo was priced to make money for the ship. Casino needs a door to keep the cigarette smoke from billowing into the main cabin
Destinations and Excursions
Every place but Casablanca was great
Barcelona, Spain
favorite city in Spain
Casablanca, Morocco
If you've been you should go to the market for the ceramics and souveneirs and a kebab,
Funchal, Madeira
Lovely downtown pedestrian center
Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Canary Islands
Very pleasant city. Seafood is predictably fresh
Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Islands
Beach right next to the dock
Malaga, Spain
Great vibe to the old city. Cathedral excellent romanesque features with beautiful wooden choir and door closures. Picasso museum like every other picasso museum in Europe, just less complete. Paellla, tortilla, cerveca as good as any in Spain

Give the specialty restaurants a try.
