Review summary

We sailed on the Norwegian Spirit. The ship is rather small compared to others we have been on. The entertainment was also less than compelling. There was no music at the pool even when out to sea. If you just wanted to hang on board when inport there were no activities. They added security, not sure if it was because of the breakers or recent news reports but it did make you feel safe. Could not use the hottubs as the breakers occupied them 15 to 20 at a time.

There was not alot of variety. We tried to make reservations 3 times and were not able too. One night we were told with a party of 2 we could walk right in. It was a 30 minute wait with no place to sit.

Entertainment

Quality of entertainment was not there. Everything was rushed and pushed together. You went from one end of the ship and had 5minutes to get to the other end for a different show or activity. Night club closed at 12 even if people were still there. Bartenders had to move to another venue so the club closed.

Service and Staff

Staff was very friendly. Remembered names and drink choices.

Ship Quality

Public areas were clean. Crew was kept busy cleanning up broken glass around pool as breaker took their beverages into the pool and hottubs.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an inside stateroom and it was average. Kept asking the staff to move the beds together and finally gave up on the third day.

We just went on shore to buy T-shirts ect. We did visit Atlantis and took a tour of the town. We did not purchase the ship's package but felt we were given a fair deal from the dock

The whole thing is a waste of time. Not enough chairs. Unless you just want to get drunk on a beach it isn't worth it.

Pros: Freestyle dinning, departure being a latitude member

Cons: Most colleges were on spring break and 80% of the travlers were breakers
