Review summary

The ship was very nice- (the Norwegian Spirit) much better than The Majesty which is an older ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food at the dining rooms were excellent- We were not very happy that the food at Raffles court was not available when we wanted to eat! Alot of times most of the food was being taken away when we wanted to sit down to eat lunch

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was EXCELLENT!

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Our children had a great time the last day at the Pajama party. We weren't happy that during the day the children could not go into the children's program for an hour or so with their bathing suits. No where in the "rules" did it say this- it only said to have closed toe shoes- and yet when we went to drop off our children during the day for an hour- we were told that they could not go in because they had bathing suits on. The person there was not very nice in telling us this- when I clealy told her that it would have been nice if this was informed to us earlier when we signed the girls in!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were great especially the room stewards and waiters/waitresses in the dining rooms

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was wonderful- did not like that the fact that the children's swimming area was very far away from the regular pool and that we had to go through the Raffles court to get there

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabins were fine- Very unhappy in the fact that we needed to get 3 cabins for 7 people- when clearly cabins 6086 & 6082 which were booked initially- both could hold 4 people!! Both these staterooms had 3 beds plus a pull out sofa sleeper- We were in total 4 adults & 3 children- one of the children is a baby who slept in a pack & play- Very upset that both travel agent (Carmen) and NCL did not know or wish not to tell us that 7 people could definitely fit in 2 cabins and were ended up paying for a third cabin. We spoke to reception on the ship who e-mailed Carmen and not sure what was communicated to Carmen, but NOTHING was done to credit us in any amount for the money we spent on a third cabin unnecessarily!!! VERY UNHAPPY & DISSATISFIED WITH THIS SITUATION!!!

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Had a great time in Bermuda! Close to Snorkel park where the children had fun- we went jet skiing and very convenient to the ferries & bus access

Pros: The relaxing time

Cons: Not being able to get food at Raffles court when we wanted- because food was being taken away

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? Yes!
