Wonderful Vacation!!

Sail Date: September 07, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

We loved the ship. Beautiful decor and easy access to all venues. We were on the 9th deck. Loved St John's, Boston & Martha's Vineyard. Halifax has lost it's charm to Commericalism.Overall we had the best cruise so far and this was our 4th one. Just a suggestion. I think they should hold a separate mustering for handicapped persons & certain seniors. They stood too long in the heat and many were pushed back against the ship instead of being in front.

Pros: Positive friendly crew, food, smooth check-in & check-out,great ports of call

Cons: Better shows for the theater, less art auctions

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? Yes!

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
The staff was very helpful and always pleasant.
Food and Dining
Best meal was in La Trattoria and worth the extra $'s
Cabin / Stateroom
There were party leftovers from the last cruise when we checked our room and they never did get all the sparkles and broken balloons removed. Also the safe malfunctioned many times.
Entertainment
We wish they had more shows that were like a Brodway musical or short play. 2nd city improv comedy needs improvement. Lounge acts were wonderful.
Boston, Massachusetts
Great bus service and very proud Bostonians narrating the freedom trail. Loved little Italy and of course the visit to Cheers
Halifax, Nova Scotia
While the area is very pretty, the whole atmosphere has become quite commerical. The best deal is the hop-on hop off bus.
Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
Not much to complain about this picturesque setting. rRch in history and famous for it's island residents. Wonderful scenery. We had a wonderful tour bus driver who obviously is very proud of his Island.
Saint John, New Brunswick
The seaport itself is very beautiful and the area is rich with history, architecture and wonderful people.
Don't Miss: Steamer's cafe. great food and great entertainment.
