We sailed on the Norwegian Spirit and if you have a family this is the ship for you. The Buckaroo area for the kids is awesome. The staff is very willing to try and help you. The entertainment is fun and appropriate for the kids too. We loved sharkbait. The pool is great and we absolutely loved the free dining. I totally recommend the Windows Dining Room. The soda bracelet for the kids ($5/per day) is worth it.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The free dining without a doubt was the best part of the cruise. Plan on gaining weight. There is food available (burgers, franks, wings, fries, chinese food available 24/7. We dined in both Cagney's Steak House and
Tepanaki and althrough there is a cover charge, it is worth it because the food is fabulous.
Entertainment

The entertainment was great. So were the shore excursions. If you go to the Bahamas do not miss the Dolphin Encounters. It was fabulous and worth every penny.
Children's Programs

My 6 year old niece loved every second of Charlies Play Center. The staff was fabulous and even took them to dinner and the show if you wanted. She kept begging to go back. If you wanted the kids to stay past 10pm it was $5 per hour talk about the best bargain in town!!
Service and Staff

The staff was great.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was great. Except there was visible damage at the tivoli pool. The cracks and rails need to be overhauled. Also just one tip: Do not booki a room on the 6th floor because is the floor with the two main dining rooms and if we were on the wrong side of the ship you constantly had to go up, down and over. The ship was ver clean and the decor was bright and fun.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The rooms are small especially if you have 4 in a room. Don't make the mistake we made, get a outside room. In t he inside room it was dark morning, noon and evening. We couldn't tell day from night..
Athough it is fabulous there is just not enough time (5 hours) The Dolphin Encounter is unbelievable. The dolphins are incredible. My kids even got a hug and kiss from the dolphins. They will never forget it!! The problem was that it took a long time to get there and get back and then there was only about 45 minutes to spend in the town before you had to get back to the ship.
