We have cruised several times, Royal ~ Princess, and this was the first time for NCL. Never again, even speaking with other passengers, they all agreed, the staff on the Spirit was not familiar with where anything was. The lack of information given was terrible. I would not cruise NCL again. The ship was beutiful, so we made the best of what we had.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
This freestyle is aweful, never really knowing what dining rooms are available, and with the shore excursions, nothing you wanted was open, when you wanted to. Freestyle cost us more money, than normal. To eat in the steakhouse cost us 80.00, although food was very good.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Never really knew what and when something was going on, never any announcements, except bingo, which was a ripoff, I have never missed a bingo game on a cruise, but I did here. you could play 6 cards for 35.00 or 72 cards for 75.00 ??? Also with the 500+ people in that Galazy of the Stars room, you could not hear nor see what was going on.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Everytime we asked someone where something was, they did not know, told us to ask this person who did not know. We went to the Arcade room with our kids, the coin machine was not working, called for someone to fix it, and he prceeded to fix a broken arcade game, when we asked him to fix the coin machine, he said he had to fix this first, well we could not play anything, and waited 45 minutes, and he never fixed coin machine, so we left. Did not return to arcades. They had no control over extremely drunk passengers, on the tandem to Great Stirrup Cay, there was a group (10) of obviously underaged drunk boys, that were so extremely drunk, we could not even sit there any longer, hooting and howling at all the girls getting on the tandem, where was the staff or anyone who cared.

Beautiful ship
Cabin / Stateroom

The gentleman that took care of our room was the best, size of the room was extremely small, compared to Royal and Princess. Balcony could fit 2 chairs and a plastic table, Thats it!..
