Love the ship is old but well keep, oustanding staff, very organize. needs to give more time in private island.

it was ok but not the greatest not the best layout

The biggest issue I had aboard the ship was motion sickness. So I advise first time cruisers to take dramamine and wear those seasick wrist bands. I hear they help. In a smaller ship like the Norwegian Sky, you'll definitely feel the motion of the ocean. Overall we enjoyed our stay on the sky. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. Our safe wasn't working and they sent someone right away. Then they were doing some construction of some sort--we still don't quite understand why--but after we complained they gave us chocolate covered strawberries and earplugs for our troubles. Plus the construction stopped. The staff is friendly and on-point. They are always around to order drinks, food, answer questions or tell you the time. There aren't any clocks in the staterooms so it was easy to loose track of time. There was a wide variety of things to do on the ship both at night and during the day. Each room is provided with a detailed itinerary, so there's always some sort of entertainment. DJ Clipp was GREAT! Good music and friendly dude. Plus Richard our cruise director was Hilarious! They had a white party by the pool so if you are traveling on the Norwegian sky, make sure to pack something white. It's not required but fun nonetheless. Overall it was a good trip. It wasn't luxurious but good for the price we paid. You can tell where they tried to cut corners--same food at the breakfast buffet, and lunch. But it was all you can eat so we made due. Suggestions for future travelers:: pack an alarm/digital clock, something white and water bottles in your checked bags.

Average. The ship is clean but not spectacular. Beds are incredibly hard

A total waste due to the condition of the ship, and the fact that the crew was in general not happy with their job. To make matters worse this itinerary was boring

Good ship for 5 day cruise out of Miami. The ship crew puts on a good shows and activities. Ship is clean and renovated so its in good condition. 5 days is not too long and not too short for us with 2 kids. Kids program is also good.

The layout of the ship is very nice. The buffets are very good, tho the desserts are not. Decent amount of things to do at night, however not much of a selection during the day unless you want to bake in the sun or sleep all day in your cabin. At night, there should be more times where it is required 18+. For the most part, it was relaxing and the staff is pleasant without going overboard.

This ship is starting to show its age, however, the food was great, the people were extremely sweet...some of the best and we have been on a lot of cruises. They need to update the beds...like sleeping on a board. Also the TV's are straight out of the 90's...

We really enjoyed our cruise for our 10 year anniversary. The shows and comedy were extremely good. the ship was immaculate. the ocean view room was great and spacious. The only thing I was disappointed in was the food selection. I would of liked more seafood and variety between buffet and dining rooms.

This was our first cruise and we found the staff to be very friendly. The layout of the ship was easy to figure out with the many diagrams available. The food was good. We did like the freestyle cruising aspect where we didn't have to eat at a given time, we could choose to eat when we wanted, something was always available. Our stateroom was comfortable and quiet and fit the four of us fairly well. The ship itself was kept very clean and attention to detail was excellent. The entertainment was terrific and our kids had a great time with the teen program. We were kept well informed re: ports of call, embarkation and debarkation information, entertainment and general information through the newsletters we received each night and through the PA system.

The ship was amazing. Being that it was my first time on a cruise, I was astonished by the vast size of the vessel. It was truly a "hotel on the sea." Had an amazing time getting to know different people from all over the world.

All of the bathrooms smelled like urine. It wasn't pleasant to walk into a bathroom that should have smelled clean and it smell like urine. Total turnoff!

Old ship but kept clean. Strong mold odor in our hallway that was not noticed in other areas of the ship. Minimal shopping options. Private island beautiful beach, rental items ie, jet ski, priced very high compared to other places to rent jet skis. Food in main dining areas not great.

The ship was nice, rooms were nice... a little small but it's a boat so... they had lots of activities and things to do.

This was a wonderful cruise. It was our first cruising experience. We weren't sure we would enjoy taking a cruise, but we will definitely do so again. The ports we visited were great. The staff on board were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was fine. The nightly shows were great and the food was good. I like the freestyle concept on Norwegian, but do not like how they nickel and dime you to death once you get on board. They charge extra for soft drinks and don't provide many options during the day if you don't drink alcohol. Having juice and lemonaid available would have been nice. They encourage you to drink a lot of water on shore excursions, but make it very difficult to get any. We also really liked the variety of ages on board - lots of families, college kids on spring break (who were very well behaved), newlyweds, oldyweds - made for a wonderful environment and nice feel to the cruise.
