This was our very first cruise and we’ve decided that cruises are not our thing. We were pleased with the staff but upset by the smell and hotness of our room.

Upon arriving our room smelled like dirty feet. A man came and placed deodorizer around the room

We complained several times about the air conditioner. Was told a supervisor would come, no one ever came.

Oh yeah if the Old Sky could Talk lol 😂. I didn’t experience the smell but that was back in the Booze 🥃 Cruise Days of the Sky . You wouldn’t of smell it anyways . It’s was that kind of ship . But sorry you experienced this but don’t give up .

Try Windstar cruise line if you’re looking for a different cruising experience. I have never been disappointed with them.

Cruising isn’t for everyone. Our best friends are not fond of it. But if there’s some particular opportunity and/or itinerary, will join us. Don’t close the door based on one experience. Sorry this isn’t your “cup of tea”.

I would suggest to try again, I've personally done this ship and it is old and kinda basic, so not a good representation of cruising, but we have cruised 10x on other cruise lines including other ncl as well.

Sorry you picked such an old ship for your first cruise. Built in 1999. That's old by cruise ship standards. If you're willing to try again, check the age of the ship first on this app. It's under "More", Ship stats. Sorry it wasn't good for you.😢
