Review summary

We NEVER Stopped at the Private Island so many people onboard paid to visit, The Ship was lackluster than any cruise line I have been on. The Food was HORRIBLE and the service was ok. Pre Paid Drinks and Specialty Dining caught my eye so I sold hook line and sinker. This was my 1st time on Norwegian thinking I was going to upgrade my cruising experience but was I disappointed. The cabin was ok I had a port view. the ship itself didnt have a lot of activities on the ship to enjoy.

Synnamon, I disagree somewhat. I live by carnival too. And I’ve been on RCCL and Disney and celebrity and was bored on those in comparison to the carnival ships. BUT. I went on the Norwegian Getaway last year and loved it! I didn’t try the speciality dining, but participated in activities and had lots of fun. There was lots of opportunity for fun, and opportunity to relax. A perfect mix. One of the drawbacks is that the activities in the atrium are packed. There’s not enough room for everyone. So if you want to watch or participate, you have to get there really early

I wanna have fun but I wanted to try a different ship line I live my Carnival, didn’t like RCLit was good for 😴, from what I’m reading NCL is gonna be another sleep vacay, I’m 53 and love to dance so I hope to get to do a lot of that, different strokes for different folks if it’s not my cup of tea at least I can say I tried it.
