I will do NCL again because of the cleanliness. The crusise staff were amazing. The corporate end could be a bit less aggressive on the up-selling and advertising. Gets annoying by the 3rd day of it. You are turning people off at that point. Your making great money as it is...be a little more classy.
Embarkation

Wen pretty quickly, may have been 45 minutes to an hour. They move you thru quick.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Really missed not have plastic bottles of soft drinks. They only give you small cups with lot of ice unless you ask them not to put too much in so you at least have more than 3 or 4 sips. NO VENDING MACHINES!! You can only get a piece of candy from the gift shop which is only open for a short period of time.
Crossings Main Dining Room

Excellent food and the staff were so kind and courteous.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I like the casino and bars. The onboard music needs to improve and be so loud! You can't enjoy conversation at those decibles.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The butler and housekeeping were top shelf! They didn't miss a thing. The rest of the staff were very nice and attentive!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean!! Always right on top of the messy areas and quick with the sanatizers!! Very noticable how clean they were keepig the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was clean and comfortable, the shower was tiny!!!!! Could barely move in it and I am not a large person. Difficult to even shave your legs in the space. Pillows were awful.
Ship tip
Careful for the gimmics...there everywhere. Find the adult hot tub.
Loved the Miami beach area, lods of fun to people watch, shop and eat. Little Havana was also very interesting, just be careful. Both of the area are pretty pricey.
PEACEFUL! Very carribean in color and flavor. Took in the stingrays and was very impressed with the hostsand dthir knowledge. Also did some jet skis and had a blast. The instructors were quite a bit of fun. They guided us thru without any problems and even took special consideration to one of our people who was very apprehensive. Excellent excursion!!
We found out own excursion after we disembarked. NCL definately is aggressive in this port for buying the excursions thru them, which is quite expensive, i.e.., old school car tour thru the cruiseline for 2 hours approx. $300/person... actual cost directly witht the driver out from of the port, $50 /hour for all 4 of us. You do the math. The people were so very friendly in the city of Havana, they were very happy to have us as tourists and it showed. The police, customs or anything goverment, was obvious that they did like Americans.
They definately should stagger it better. They got too many people in a line for a LONG time, perhaps and hour and a half or more. It definately was to get people off the ship so the staff coukd get after the cleaning.
