Review summary

For the most part, I enjoyed the cruise. The bedbugs might have turned me off for doing another cruise unfortunately. The music, food, entertainment and staff were excellent!

Embarkation

The first night was wonderful, very memorable and magical. The second night, I woke up with a bite on my ankle but figured it was a bug bite from sitting on the 11th deck by the pool. The last night I woke up and had 10 bites all over my body. My boyfriend checked the bed as I mentioned bed bugs and he found several bugs including one on his suitcase. This was very disturbing as well as extremely uncomfortable as the bites were itching and swollen, even infected from constant scratching in my sleep. It's been four days since we have been off the ship and my bites are still very swollen and puffy.

The layout was good- I wish we could've had a guided tour as I had no idea some of the activities were even on the ship.

Ugh.. That is my biggest fear..critters that are mobile.. I don't need an infestation in my home.. So how did Norwegian handle this issue?
