the captain turned what could have been a disaster into a very memorable and exciting cruise. never left port till 1 am tuesday so did not get to Havan untill 4pm (suppose to be there at 8am) in stead of going to the private island we stayed docked in Cuba a extra night,hats off to NCL on make this decision

who can complain when the drinks a free, hardly any wait for a drink bar tenders very attenative,food just the same as any cruise nothing spectacular but not bad, if you think it's going to be like it was 40 years ago forget it. breakfast in the dinning room is our preference sometimes they had a hard time getting the correct item for what we ordered but did not complain or even make them aware of it no big deal. dinner was good NYS steak on menu every night not bad

nothing going on around pool, hardly heard form the cruise director, fitness center very small waiting to use the equipment, no bands playing around pool, the typical bingo,art show,photo people not pushy so that was good, had basket ball nets. golf driving into a net, walk around deck

did not attend any comedy shows, was eating dinner at 9 only one show a night

not on the cruise to evaluate the cabin, we chose inside because we have done all other options on previous cruises but enjoy the solitutide...lol

the ship is small but you do not feel crowded,easy to manover decks, we were going fo the experience of visiting Cuba
did our own excursion to Vinelas, got to stay extra day in Havan,due to ship having tech. issues first day out so we missed the island (yea). Havana is safe people friendly,know a little spanish,negoiate cabs before you get in total price not each person,take a cab ride arround the city tons of them right outside the terminal remember dicker the price
