Review summary

I got a poor stateroom far below deck which made me claustrophobic and unable to rest well. When I talked to guest services on the ship (the shore personnel would not help at all) they were rude and informed me to talk to my travel agent but when I called the travel personnel I was told to talk to the ship GS ---- a total disaster.  This was my birthday cruise which I had looked forward to and was totally ruined by you folks!  I will definitely look for better companies in the future.

When I stated this I asked for a room along or above main desk --- what I got was the lowest stateroom on ship. Very Poor

I fully inform my clients of their options and let them decide what they can afford. Unfortunately many take the least expensive road and it can turn out to be a disaster as they always say "I won't be my room anyway." Sorry for you. Please try again. Cruising is the best!

I totally agree @rdavis123 Let The Roasting begin never can be just thankful and grateful that you could even go on a cruise you ruined your own trip by trying to go to cheap route research pay more attention

So you had a room with no Windows and that was guest services problem. You should know that you are claustrophobic before you cruise and get a balcony.

I also agree with rdavis123, if they had something other than a guarantee inside room, they could have picked where they wanted to be. Plus, if you pick your stateroom online w/ NCL, they will offer you an upgrade for a little extra amount of money. You can always turn them down, however it's nice to have the opportunity.

This post is a classic for not being informed and leaving decisions to other people. Chances are they got the cheapest guarantee cabin. Then complain about it. Hopefully they learned a lesson as you can't blame everything on the cruise lines!
