Perfect if you are going to stay drunk the entire cruise

I gave this two stars for the free alcohol...

This was my ninth cruise, but first one on Norwegian.  This particular cruise was good for one thing; the open bar.  The drinks were amazing and they did not skimp on the liquor.  So, we certainly enjoyed the drinking part.  The embarkation and debarkation was the easiest and most pleasant of all my cruises, hands down.  That's where the good review ends.  

Keeping in mind that I have only cruised Carnival, in the past...  The entertainment on this ship was definitely lacking.  The food was sub-par (very bland and tasteless) and the stateroom service was horrible.  We had our ice bucket filled one time on the whole trip.  We used the two glasses that were in our cabin on day one, and never got clean ones.  Nor were the dirty ones taken away.  My brother's cabin never had ANY glasses.  

There was half of a dinner roll laying in the hallway, close to our staterooms, on the first night of the cruise.  It became the running joke of everyone on that floor, as it was never cleaned up.  It did eventually get hard and dried out, and became crumbled bread crumbs after someone stepped on it.

Our refrigerator did not work (would not even run) despite the fact that we called and were told that they would take care of it.  Our stateroom door would not latch unless you pulled on it very hard.  We mentioned it to the only staff person that we ever saw in our hallway, and specifically asked them to make sure it is latched when leaving.  Well.....  We didn't really need a key, as 50% of the time as the door only needed to be pushed on to open it.  Needless to say, we were a little worried about our camera and jewelry.  Lucky for us, everyone seemed to be too drunk to scavenge in our room!  Lol!  The whole trip became one big joke to us.  It was so horrible that it became hilarious.

For the record, we LOVE cruising and have never had a bad cruise experience before this one.  I'm not sure if it is ALL of Norwegian that has the issues, or just the Norwegian Sky.....
