Review summary

We had a port hole outside cabin room.  It wasn't anything very elaborate but it did the job and let us rest.  Loved the view out the porthole, would love to stay in a balcony room next cruise. Amenities were average. We were limited to one electric outlet unless there were more hidden somewhere. Whatever we needed was just a  phone call away and they were quick to take care of what we needed.  The crew took care of the air conditioner which was blowing hot air the first day.  They came while we were out exploring the boat and when we returned to the room it was nice and chilled.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
At first all we were doing was grabbing food at the buffets. On the last day, we went to the main dining room and had a wonderful relaxed meal. Overall food was good. Nice variety.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the comedy show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Seemed to have some lengthy waits at the bars for drinks.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Older ship, shows in some respects.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
nothing elaborate

Ship tip

Definitely think the Ultimate Beverage Package was well worth it. It was included in our stateroom, just paid total of $63 for gratuity for 2 people for the 3 night cruise. Be prepared to spend money on board if you like casinos, art, photos, shopping, fancier dining options, excursions, etc...

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Driving to Atlantis on the main streets to Paradise Island, I was kinda shocked to see boarded up and vacant properties. Atlantis was quite nice and large. Disappointed that several of the water slides were closed. Made the wait for what was open much longer than I would have liked.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

3 out of 5
Overall it was a nice relaxing experience. Down at the lagoon there were far fewer people so it was much quieter. The tram drivers were very nice and informative. Snorkeling was fun. Seen a lot under that water but honestly it did not "wow" me. To me there were too many things about the island that appeared 'rough' or obvious that it was man made. Beautiful warm water. We had a great day and good weather.
