First Time Cruiser

Sail Date: June 22, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our very first cruise and our first time traveling out of the country. We were impressed with the loads of information received. We felt prepared to travel and were excited. Our stateroom was always clean. Each time we returned to our room our bed was nicely made, our blankets were folded and our towels were fresh. Even if we sat on the bed for a few minutes and left the room, when we returned, the bed was smoothed. This made us feel relaxed and comfortable. It's the little things! We very much enjoyed our first cruise. The staff was a lot of fun and there was always something to do. If you were bored, it was your own fault because there was always something going on onboard. There was truly something for everyone! We indulged in the specialty dining upgrade package. Our food was AMAZING. We were so impressed with Cagney's Steakhouse, that we dined there twice! The service was exceptional. We laughed because we weren't allowed to pour our own wine. We aren't used to that type of service, but it sure did make us feel special and fancy once we learned the "rules". We will definitely be going on a cruise again...soon!

Food and Dining
Cagney's Steakhouse was amazing! We wish we could indulge in this kind of fine dining more often!
Service and Staff
The staff was always friendly and willing to help if you were lost around the ship haha.
We loved the entertainment. Barry's piano bar was a lot of fun and the comedy shows made us laugh so hard we had tears in our eyes!
Children's Programs We didn't travel with children.
Onboard Activities
So much fun and always something to do!
Destinations and Excursions
We participated in the dolphin interaction at Atlantis and we parasailed on the private island. Both excursions were exciting and a wonderful experience!
Ship Quality
Always clean. It was impressive!
Embarkation and Disembarkation
We enjoyed the parties each night we sailed off. Not only was the site of the ship sailing off into the sunset beautiful, but there was entertainment and dancing and music to kick off the night! It was a lot of fun!
Cabin / Stateroom
We were so impressed with the cleanliness. We couldn't believe that each time we left the room, our bed was smoothed over and our towels were replaced. This made the cruise and our vacation so enjoyable. One time, I came back to the room and my bathing suit was hanging on a hanger to dry! This was so considerate!
Miami, Florida
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
We hung out at Senor Frogs. This was a blast! The port was mostly shopping and the beach was a little bit of a drive away unfortunately, so we didn't get to experience that in this port.
Nassau, Bahamas
Amazing! This port was a lot of fun. We traveled to the Atlantis resort and our tour bus guide was hysterical. We got a tour of the town which was really neat.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
This island was beautiful! Such white sandy beaches and clear water! There was plenty to do on the island and there was even a complimentary lunch provided!

Enjoy the entertainment. It is mostly all free and will be sure to provide you with many laughs and memories for a long time!
