Review summary

Traveled with a friend for a girls getaway to the Bahamas on the Sky.  The ship was smaller and old and definitely needs updating.  We had an oceanview stateroom and the beds were NOT comfortable (looked like cots?).  Shower was extremely small.  We had the free bev package - this would be great for a family that drinks sodas or for those that like to drink frozen drinks or wine with dinner as it was included.  Not included - bottled water at over $5 a bottle with tax.  However, I must say that Norwegian does do some things quite right.  LOVED the anytime dining!  The food on this cruise was better than some of the cruises we have been on.  We did get an awesome waiter on the 2nd night which we requested on nights 3 and 4.  The Los Vegas show on the final night was awesome and I was impressed with the talent of the dancers/singers.  There were some funny game shows as well as a family comedian.  The ship was clean and someone was always cleaning somewhere on the ship.  Getting back on the ship after an excursion was nice as they had flavored water and ice cold towels for everyone.  There was no sea day and we actually stopped at three different islands.  There island is very nice. Pass up all of the main beach busyness and continue to the lagoon (make sure they are going to have bar service and food on that end as it was no opened on the day of our arrival). Getting on/off the ship for excursions was quick and easy.  Embarktion and Disembarktion were both very smooth with Norwegian. The lagoon was secluded, quiet and so nice.  I will cruise Norwegian again, just on a bigger, newer ship.
