The ship, staff and food were great. We enjoyed the freestyle cruising. The layout of the ship was the easiest we have seen on other cruise lines. We will definitely sail with Norwegian again in the future.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate all of our dinners in the main dining room and enjoyed all of our meals. The buffets offered a good variety of food for lunch and breakfast and everything was very fresh.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There were plenty of options for entertainment for all ages.
Children's Programs

Our 6 year old son loved the kids korner. When we picked him up, he begged us to stay longer. He met several other boys his age that we saw on board the ship throughout the week. They offered free care from 5-10:30 and even if you leave your child at times outside of these hours, it's only $6/hr. They do fun activities with the kids and they all want to stay longer.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Friendly for the most part. I only ran into one grumpy staff member, Jorge, who surprisingly was the cruise consultant for future cruises. He was standing behind the desk not helping anyone and I asked him a general question about dinner and he gave me the meanest look. Apparently he gets alot of "general" questions and that is not his department, but if he's not helping anyone, he should at least be friendly and direct me to the proper person.
Ship Quality

Easy layout, very clean, lots of fun activities. One thing that we didn't like was the salt water in the pools. They were also very small. Our son spent most of the time in the kiddie pool even though he can swim because the salt water hurt his eyes.
Beautiful. Lots of fun activities. Our only complaint was that it was blazing hot without much breeze so we had to stay in the water or hide out in the shade.
We were very disappointed with Freeport. We didn't even get off of the ship because it looked so dumpy. Even on the ship, it was swarmed with bees and flies while we were in port there.
