Review summary

The Norwegian Sky is a beautiful ship. The staff keeps everything immaculate and there were so many activities and shows that we found ourselves going constantly all day and all evening. We didn't want to miss anything.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Unfortunately it was a very windy day when we arrived in Freeport. The snorkel excursion we wanted to take was cancelled. We took a taxi to a snorkel beach called Deadman's Reef. Because of the wind and waves, it was definitely not the best day to snorkel and most of the fish were hiding, but we heard from people who had been there before that this is a great place to snorkel and normally you can see lots of fish and Eagle Rays. We still had a wonderful time at this beach and the staff at the little concession area were very nice. We will try it again on our next trip.

Don't Miss: Snorkel - either on your own or on a shore excursion.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

Great Stirrup Cay is awesome. Unfortunately on this cruise we were unable to tender in because of the wave height and projection of storms to hit the island, but we have been there before and it is a fantastic place to relax.

Don't Miss: The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling at the beach is GREAT. Be sure to get off the ship at this island and enjoy the activities.

Nassau, Bahamas

Don't miss Atlantis. It is quite a sight to see, especially the aquarium. There is a public beach next to the Atlantis where you can swim in the ocean.

Don't Miss: Visit Atlantis - they have a nice marina area also, with cute little shops and restaurants.

Pros: Lots of activities

Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like
