Review summary
If you are looking for a lot of alone time and don't have kids in that early tween age than this will work great for you. We had the "larger" balcony cabin and the three of us had to work in single file. The kids program doesn't offer much to do during the day and at night they start charging you at 10:30. We have an 11 year old and I couldn't see leaving her with like 1 other kid for the "babysitting" hours while I tried to have fun. Food is just that-food. The specialty restaurants are nice, but again-just food! They only offer 1 main dish on the afternoon and eveing buffets so it is like they force you to eat in the dining room-or pay for the specialty restaurants. We didn't go for the food, so we just ate whatever. Staff is more stand-offish than on other ships and it is suppose to be the youngest fleet but a lot of things in our cabin were broken and the steward said they all are like that. Again, we made it a nice time-wasn't horrible by any means but just not what I thought it would be.Ports of call
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
Pros: Freedom to dress as we wanted for the evening.
Cons: Children's program, food choices
Recommends Norwegian Sky? Yes!
