Horrible Cruise- Norwegian Sky

Sail Date: November 24, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

Poor Poor Poor

Cons: PL Promised $50 Shopping Spree-No one on Ship could confirm so the money was never made available. Priceline never followed up as well. HORRIBLE SERVICE from Priceline. 15572888 Service was also horrible on ship-Dinner took 4 hours and this was after u sat down!

Recommends Norwegian Sky? No.

Ship Quality
Old Ship - They say refurbished but I believe that only means new carpeting and fresh paint.
Food and Dining
Dinner took 4 hours and this was after u sat down! We got good service the following night because we threatened to call their HQ, but then the third night they reverted back to poor service.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Horrible - I asked for a status on the $50 shopping spree promise from and no one ever got back to me.
Poor - They should play the Poconos
Children's Programs
Poor - Virtually non existent
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Very nice - fish are active in the shallow waters and the prices for beach gear is reasonable
Don't Miss: snorkling
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Freeport is a waste of time. They only have a shopping bazaar - DON'T GET OFF THE SHIP
Nassau, Bahamas
Paradise Island - EXCELLENT
Don't Miss: Paradise Island
