too many kids

Sail Date: November 24, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

I cruised on this ship in January 2007 in Hawaii. The ship is marginal. The staff is poor. The management was not equiped to handle a full ship with 600 kids on board.

Pros: beer helmets

Cons: 600 kids on the ship

Recommends Norwegian Sky? No.

Children's Programs
not enough children's programs; the kids were everywhere, including adult only programs and bars
pretty corny
Service and Staff
not enuogh staff
Ship Quality
housekeeping staff was poor; never a full set of towels received in state room
Food and Dining
availability during off hours is limited; food qualify poor to average
Cabin / Stateroom
bedding better but rooms still too small
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Don't Miss: get your food early because there isn't enough
Nassau, Bahamas
taxi fares are expensive
Don't Miss: beach
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
taxi fares are expensive
Don't Miss: beach
