Walk on the left side of the road when walking the gravel road to the farm in Gereinger, we walked on the right, slipped into a ditch and broke a leg, currently on day 9 in a Norway hospital.

We medically disembarked on day 5 of our 11 day cruise after breaking a leg while walking on a gravel road in Gereinger, Norway, he stepped aside to let a car pass and fell in a ditch. and have been in a hospital in Aalsund Norway for 9 days, waited 5 days for a specialist to do surgery and are currently 3 days post surgery learning to walk with crutches. Not the cool Norway Iceland vacation we had dreamed of.

Hope the healing process is quick and complete. You’re right, not the way one wants to visit another country. Glad he was able to get the care needed even 5 days late.
