Review summary

Cruised with our adult kids and grandkids as well as brother and family - 10 in total. It was difficult to find something for everyone.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy and fast!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Very bland. Food options lacked a lot.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The main pool was very small for the magnitude of people. The splash area for the babies was on top of the ship. Too windy! The Donna Summer show was phenomenal! But the venues are so small - it's hard to get in to watch unless you wait for an hour or more. Not a lot of entertainment going on.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Donna Summer show was very well done!

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
The program for my 8 year old granddaughter was great - she had a lot of fun. However, the program for my 13 year old grandson was a free for all. Carnival has a better program for the younger teens.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was kind but I felt they were very short staffed.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean and pretty boat!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Pretty spacious!

Ship tip

Don't go during spring break and expect an older crowd (I'm 55 and felt out of place).

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Loved the sloths and monkeys excursion. Had a blast.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Got a driver at port to drive us around and sightsee. Very nice. Beautiful!

Harvest Caye, Belize

5 out of 5
Went to the beach right off the ship! Nice beach!

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
Didn't really do much. Cool looking town - reminds me if the French quarter on New Orleans.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Not bad. Unfortunately we were ported with 4 or 5 other ships! Very congested.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy!

We loved the Prima. I agree that sailing during spring break and holidays can be tough. We thought the included food options were good.
