We always have a great time on our cruise. Haven't had a bad experience yet.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Super fast. By the time the ropes dropped, we were thru security in no time. The way the Norwegian arranged the waiting area and direct everyone coming in on where to sit was great. And loved how each section was let to board the ship was organized.
The announcements could have been a little louder.

We didn't have one bad meal. We went to Cagneys, Palomar, Los Lobos, Indulge, The Local and of course the Seaside Cafe and grill.
Onboard Activities

Loved the Vibe. It needs a pool. Location to the Cafe and grill is great. Danny and the staff was amazing.
We were there all the time.
Entertainment

very show at Syd Norman's is a must. We can understand now why the seating is limited. Get in line at least 1 hour to get a seat. Hopefully soon, they will be able to perform at the theater.
Loved Donna Summer. If you like the Jersey Boys, you will love this show.
Had a lot of fun watching the Price is Right. Feels just like watching it at the real show.
Go and watch Ocean Music Fest. It was great!
Service and Staff

Ship Quality

They staff did a wonderful job of keeping the common areas clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin steward was wonderful. We even gave him the time off from cleaning our cabin. The day before the last day of our cruise, we start packing and cleaning up. Getting rid of stuff and organizing. The last day we get rid of dirty towels and just ask for more.
It makes it so much easier. The only thing to pack is items that we used during the day but don't need on disembarkation and those get packed in our suitcases and out the door they go.
Ship tip
Don't set your expectations to high. We always go in with low expectations and we are pleasantly surprised with how wonderful cruise was.
We had such a wonderful time on the Prima and can't wait to sail again.
We booked our sloth, monkey and macaw excursion thru viator.
It was the best. We got off as soon as we could and made our way past the gate to meet our driver.
We were the only ones in the taxi.
We got to our destination and had only 1 other couple with us so we got to spend a lot of time with the animals.
When we were done, the crowds started to arrive. We had a excellent driver and told us a lot about Roatan.
We got to the chocolate factory early and wish we would have bought more.
We got to the rum factory right when they opened and we were the only ones there. As soon as we were done, the crowds started to come again.
I just wish we could have seen how the rum was made or the equipment that is used. Otherwise, the staff just tells you about the different rums and you get to sample them and the rum cakes are a must to take home.
We were back on the ship by 10:30.
Our flight in was a mess and so we didn't get to see the area except on sail away.
Everyone thinks that our local home port is bad, well... Galveston like our home port are working ports, unlike resort ports where you have beautiful palm trees, hotels, shopping, dining and things to so close to the ship.
We did the Salsa and Salsa. It was a lot of fun and we also did it in Mazatlan. The drive in Cozumel was way shorter than the one in Mazatlan.
Something fun for couples to do.
Due to the port being closed and inclement weather, we were delayed. But that was ok as we are almost the last ones to get off. Due to the delay, we were able to stay in our cabin till our color tag was called.
More later when we get off the ship.
You're exactly right and you hit it 100% on the DOT it's not the ship it's how you make your trip I've never have a bad cruise I don't think I ever will unless it sinks I have a good time no matter where we're at specially if I'm on vacation I'm not there to judge I'm there to have a good time
