Beautiful ship with many quirks. people I talk to either love the ship or wished they were on a traditional ship. I just don’t understand how people can be so upset just because things are a little different. You’re on a seven day cruise with weather that really cooperated. My wife and I are looking forward to our next trip on either Prima or Viva. It was a great experience with a few hiccups.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All the restaurants we went to were all very good including both MDR’s.Our favorites were Indulge food hall (free) and Food Republic.Never visited the buffet. Not one complaint about the food quality or service anywhere. Was a far cry from our meals on the Pearl last September.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Hung out either at or near the pool.Still looking for the gym.OK,OK…maybe I didn’t look too hard but my wife thinks I did.We also played in poker and blackjack tournaments.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Entertainment was good WHEN you could get in a venue. So small.Bingo,Deal or no deal and Not so new newlyweds were all fun.The atrium and lounges were all so small.Lucky to ever get a seat.Simon, the cruise Director was really good and worked very hard.Comics were both very good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Absolutely,positively no complaints!!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
OK… This is where it gets a little crazy. The ship itself was spotless. We appreciate that very much however ,as many others have said, for a ship that holds just over 3,000 people it felt many times to be really crowded. All because of the many small venues.I know that was the design plan and the designers accomplished that feeling of intimacy when you can find your space. They knocked it out of the park with Ocean Blv.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very comfortable with great storage space.Cabin was nice and light.Veranda was right over the bow breaking through the swells.I could listen to that forever!Terrfic room attendant.Maybe the best room we have stayed in.
Ship tip
Keep an open mind about the unique design. It’s truly a beautiful ship. Be prepared to play the game of chicken against electric scooters in tight spaces!
We were on the Prima in 2023. The layout was a learning curve but we were fine with it. Did not like the atrium though. Plus the white stairs were very hazardous. Prior to our cruise a gentleman fell down them and cracked his skull open. On ours another gent had fallen and developed a concussion. I also nearly fell. No one in these falls was drunk. The rest of the ship was nice.
We loved the Prima. We also had a forward balcony room and heard the ship rise and fall. We had amazing sleep because of it. I’m glad you enjoyed your cruise.
