Review summary

Our cruise was disrupted by weather in the North Atlantic off Greenland. We were stranded at sea, but the Prima was as stable as you can get, a tribute to her design. The seas were rocking and rolling, as were we, but not bad. She was a good girl to be on! The Crew and Staff on NCL are always great. I'll be back.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a breeze through NYC. I find it interesting that NY is actually very easy to cruise from.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and dining are never an issue with NCL. The ship was busy, but there's always somewhere to eat and drink on this beautiful ship.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I honestly cannot speak to the race cars, pool, hot tubs, etc. as I did not partake. But those who did seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was the chilly North Atlantic btw.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Top notch, as always on NCL. Wow!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top notch service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Sparkling clean at all times. Beautiful design...a lot different from other NCL vessels. Lovely ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The Family Balcony is basically is a regular balcony cabin with added sleeping available. The cabins are so well-sized and appointed. The shower is FANTASTIC! Lovely cabin.

Ship tip

This is not the Encore, which dazzles you instantly. The Prima is a soft-spoken, elegant ship. This is not a "party" ship, although a great time will be had. This is my second voyage on the Prima, and I've grown quite fond of her.

Mother Nature trapped us at sea for a few days. Missed Isafjordur.

Mother Nature kept us at sea with a raging springtime storm.
