Review summary

Everything was so shiny and perfect. I loved exploring to see how the layout changed and the upgrades they’ve put into place. The staff was great at every turn. The room was lovely and the journey was well planned as well. I loved being on Prima as we celebrated our friend and his 40th birthday.

I haven’t cruised much but this process is always smooth with NCL. For this cruise, with checked in, sat down and they immediately started to call groups to board.

Indulge is an awesome merge of great chefs and technology. You find a seat and start ordering as much and as often you want through the iPad. At their busiest…food will be at your table within minutes. This is the best place to go if you want to try dishes from different cultures. Don’t miss this place!

Surfside Café & Grill

I don’t care what anyone else has to say…while this place was crowded…but never had a problem finding a seat. Breakfast was my favorite as I LOVE omelets but their lunch and dinner options never disappointed!

OMG! Onda had some of the best Italian food that I’ve had the pleasure of eating in a long time. The courses were so filling and the service was top notch!

I only give this a four because the menu never changed. That is my only complaint. The food was amazing. So much so that you wanted to go back despite eating the same thing.

I didn’t attend all of the events on board that I wanted to or had reservations for. HOWEVER, I heard nothing but rave reviews for the Donna Summer Show and Price is Right! Huge shout to our Cruise Director Simon - WooHoo!

As always with NCL, staff was amazing and top notch. Never had an issue!

Ship Quality

Everything was BEAUTIFUL and well-maintained. This is a new ship and a new class. It was great exploring this ship to see what was new and surprises she had to share.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was my first time in a Studio and I loved it. It was cozy. You also have access to a private lounge and snack/drink area. If you want your own room or are a single traveler…these rooms are for you.

Ship tip

EXPLORE. It is your own fault if you “don’t have anything to do” or “can’t find anything on the ship”.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

I did enjoy this port but the mainly because I was with my group…however, the vendors are extremely pushy. It is okay to say No.

Cozumel, Mexico

Take your shoes off, enjoy all you can drink margaritas, learn about Mayan culture and cook your own fish dinner with your new family. The Traditional Barefoot Fish Cookout is a fairly new excursion but one of the best in my opinion.

I did get off the ship but I chose to walk around instead of going on an excursion. I regret that decision now cause I would have loved to have gone to Hell and Back! Side Note: Shops and Restaurants are SUPER expensive. Reference…one shot glass was $15!

Yes, there where issues. However, this was not the fault of NCL. Everyone always complains about disembarking and normally those are the ones that cause the problems.
