Ship is beautiful, but would not do it again unless I got it so cheap. Pool area is terrible. Everyone complained about it too small venues all too small not enough places to sit for all the guests on board not really enough to do in the evening.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room has same menu the entire cruise

Onboard Activities

Pool area sooooo small. If you like pool days at sea forget it. Two small infinity pools on sides of ship but not enough pool space for the number of guests on board. Everyone complained about this.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Venues were way too small and only two shows on a seven night cruise that were sold out at boarding.

Children's Programs

No kids w me

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship itself is beautiful just common areas not big enough for the number of guests not enough seating in any of the venues. They never cleaned the glass the entire seven day voyage so when you were laying out on deck, you could barely see through the dirty glass.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I booked this two days before cruising date, so I had to take it inside cabin. I must say the rooms are larger than any other NCL ship out there. They’ve allotted a lot more space for your clothes to be put away. The bathroom is larger and the rooms are lit up nice and bright.

Ship tip

Book your shows early or you might not get in. Get in line early for any other venue events on board like the comedy shows or you will not get in. If you like to lay around the pool on your CDs, don’t pick this ship.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
I love Cozumel. I only gave this port three stars because you were not there long enough you leave at 2:30 in the afternoon.

George Town, Grand Cayman

2 out of 5
The only thing you can do import is shop Unless you book an excursion you used to be able to walk to beaches and snorkel right off the cruise port, but you cannot any longer due to the hurricane that came through.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

4 out of 5
I’m not a fan of Jamaica however, this was the best Jamaican port out of all of them. Very clean and safe to walk around and there is a beach right off the ship that cost three dollars to go to the beach for the day.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
All-time favorite stop on all NCL cruises. I wish they would start the cruise with this port and end the cruise with this port. Your drink card works on the island and they bring lunch on the island chairs are provided and the water is gorgeous to swimming and very safe.

We were on it a couple of weeks ago. The Atrium stairs are dangerous. Easy ti trip and stumble and one gut actually got a pretty serious head injury. It is different compared to others but we still made it what we wanted

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Was the time spent in Cozumel different than the scheduled time when you booked? If not, that’s an unfair complaint:

We really enjoyed this ship… but we scheduled early enough to reserve most stuff… and when we got on we went straight for reservations for what we couldn’t online. We had time to plan which you didn’t get a chance… but I love you were able to enjoy the cruise anyway. Thanks for your honest yet positive review. Hope you have a cruise eyed for near future! 🛳🥂🎉

There are mixed reviews of the design of the new ships from NCL, Carnival and Royal Caribbean. They seem to have added too many small venues for the increase in the number of passengers.
