Review summary

It was nice, not exactly a boat for families. The extra daily service charges, booked shows, booked restaurants and activities made it difficult to enjoy.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarking was very easy, we had our time set to arrive and went pretty fast and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We weren’t able to book any specialty restaurants until the last night, even thought Norwegian assured us they only release 25% on line before boarding. A lot of the restaurants were small, for the buffet many times we took our food to the plamor to eat breakfast. food was all very good.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pool is small so you have to get up early to reserve a seat, but then many get upset. Many people reserve and hold seats all day so it’s hard to relax. Other than deck 17 where pool is, deck 8 is nice if you can find an area.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The comedian was good, then again you have to wait in line to get in and they line up an hour early. All shows were booked, they don’t tell you but there is a standby lane for Donna summers, we did wait 30 mins but were able to see it. Watched the price Is right from back row bc that was also all booked up before arriving on the ship. That’s the problem you can’t get into a lot of the shows as promised.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Our girls really enjoyed the splash academy.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most staff was always nice and pleasant although you would get different answers throughout . Didn’t all seem to be on the same page.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was beautiful. The bathrooms and rooms were beautiful and so roomy. We were very happy about that.!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean, very roomy, had a lot of storage for our clothes and suitcases. Bathroom was great!

Ship tip

Not exactly for families, a lot of the activities cost money and things were already full when you board. Even go karting you have to make reservations prior to going.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

We did the Chukka Ziplining and white river tubing, the guides were great and it was a lot of fun. Just a tip- make sure you only tip the main people on the zip line, we handed ours to one of the guys and they claimed we never tipped!!!

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

3 out of 5
Very nice island, tendering was very difficult to get back as a storm rolled in and it was frightening- 2hrs to get in We ziplined and snorkeled that was nice!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy! They call you by the color of your luggage tag and we got off quickly!
