Review summary

No social distancing. Very crowded. Upcharges everywhere. Cheap wine. (Did not realize until after I was home). Got headaches from the wine which was boxed. No real walking track. Beware of puddles of water on deck where you are supposed to be able to walk. Elevators very slow. Eat Indian at Indulge if you like that-also hit the gelato stand for the best chocolate caramel gelato-it will cost you. There was not a lot of entertainment...no dance floor except the disco. I really felt like we were constantly getting upcharged. The buffet is just crazy. So crowded...food is just so so unless you pay extra.

Donna Sommers was good. No other real shows on our ship. The musicians were good, but there was not a dance floor. No other entertainment worth mentioning.

The staff were polite. It feels like there are not that many stewards and waitstaff.

Layout is confusing. It is clean but is not well designed. Crowded everywhere. Forget social distancing.

Cabin / Stateroom

NIce size. Yes, the dresses done fit in to prevent them from trailing, and I am super short. You have to step on a ladder to hang them. There is no table if you order room service. WE did not order room service because it is upcharged like crazy.

Ship tip

Book as much as you can the minute you sign on to go on this ship. Bring some bottled water if you don't want the tap water. The tap water just smells like chlorine to me.

Thank You for your honest review. I agree with so many things you said. Beautiful Ship. Layout was nuts. The flow was to end up in dead ends. All the venues were so small.

I'm on the Prima right now and this person is not wrong or crazy. I have sailed 18 times with NCL and with other lines and this ship is a concept that is just not working. If you are thinking about booking this ship cause it's new and shiny that's all you'll get is shiny. Everything else is a mess, so many people on here also disappointed. Lines everywhere, can't get food too crowded, not enough bars, no windows, 1 outdoor deck. And the layout is a rat trap, weird dead ends, no flow to the design. The Penrose atrium looks like a shopping mall, and other than the PACKED syd Normans there is not a lot of entertainment. Will be sticking to the breakaway class ships.

So you really thought there would be social distancing on a cruise ship ??? Could you explain how exactly you expect that to be done ?? Lol 53 here and tubing / white water rafting is a blast !
