Review summary

Norwegian Prima was a beautiful ship with amazing food, drinks and entertainment.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It could have been more efficient - long lines to get onboard.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent dining experience - from the specialty restaurants to the dining rooms to the "Food Truck" dining.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did all the activities - from the Broadway show, disco nights, Syd Norman Pour House, mini-golf, dance lessons, Price is Right, racetrack and so much more (pool, fitness center, etc.)

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Donna Summer show, Disco Party, Price is Right, Syd Norman Pour House, Comedy shows - all were awesome.

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent and attentive - from waitstaff to room stewards.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ships layout - It was a bit wonky, but once you figured it out - it was fine. One disappointment was that the fitness center lacked adequate bathroom. There was only one bathroom available and that was just not sufficient. No issues with cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had a balcony room which was quite comfortable and kept clean by the room steward. One remark was that the photographs of the balcony cabin were deceiving which made it look quite spacious - sadly it was standard cruise ship size.

Ship tip

Check out Syd Norman's Pour House - so much fun! Be sure to book all the entertainment when you board.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so the cruise ship was unable to tender in.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Better than the embarkation.

Thanks for the good review. Seems to be a lot of negativity towards the prima. I will see first hand on March the 5th.

Thank you for sharing. We have booked, and I've been reading ALL the bad reviews. I've been considering canceling. Hate to spend this much $ to have a bad experience.
