We've cruised Boston to Bermuda several times and we love it. Getting to the Boston cruise port is easy for us and we prefer not to fly (especially today with the majority of flights getting delayed/canceled). Bermuda is beautiful and safe and the weather is very consistent. There's plenty to do whether or not you have children with you.

Food and Dining

Exceptional service in the main dining room. Two of the waiters were so sweet to my young child and made animals out of the napkins. Food excellent as usual.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Not a ton of things to do for families with children. They removed the water slides from the ships that cruise boston to bermuda and besides the little kids club, there is nothing for kids to do on these ships. Ncl larger ships or royal caribbean better for kids...
Entertainment

Since covid no more fancy shows on ncl. Just a comedian and maybe a magician, and a couple basic karaoke type singing shows... not very exciting.
Children's Programs

Folks in the kids club were friendly. Not a lot of activities to do but they had basic arts and crafts. Kids club only available on sea days right now which is a bummer
Service and Staff

Bartenders are rude most of the time but everyone else fantastic
Ship Quality

Very clean but not enough onboard activities. Miss water slides and wish they had mini golf or something like that
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Club balcony suite. Plenty of space for 3 people and luggage. Nice large shower. Bed very uncomfortable but we asked for egg crate mattress topper and firmer pillows and it worked out well. Definitely recommend testing bed and pillows as soon as cabin is ready so you can request what you need before going to bed.
Ship tip
The food is fantastic! Service overall is wonderful. If you have kids, bring activities for them to do. Not a lot to keep them occupied on this ship. Also, the cabin refrigerators only slightly cool so it's not safe to store perishable items like milk. We learned the hard way...
Once current contracts with cruise lines have expired, this will no longer be a port of call for majority of cruise lines due to limits set by the town.
In Bar Harbor there is a long wait to go through customs. If you get off the ship there you have to wait a long time to get back on because everyone on the ship has to clear customs before they let people get back on the ship.
