It was just a lovely time for all. My Sister in law and her hubby first time cruising and they had a blast.
Embarkation

We used uber from our hotel. Dropped off our bags. The line moves quickly. Was on board in about half hour total. We had a 12:30 check in time and we’re on the boat before 1:30.

Food and Dining

The food was good in the main dining room. We had no trouble walking up and getting a table for two. A couple of misses but most of our meals were great. Waiters were hit and miss. Had a couple of great ones and a couple that seemed very distracted.
Buffet busy but never had to wait long.
24 hour place had good nachos
Specialty dinners were at Italian place and steakhouse. Steakhouse was good but after eating at little Italy in Boston it was disappointing. NCL does not do good pizza.
Onboard Activities

Spa thermal area is so relaxing. A great way to start the day. Not as big as the encore spa but it was adequate.
Casino fun but lost a bit lol
I don’t do cruise ship pools unless it’s haven.
Music everywhere so that was great
People watching always fun and great conversations with people
Martini bar makes a good cosmopolitan

Didn’t do any stage shows. I miss the broadway show like choir of man.
Music performances around the ship were great. Heard good reviews of the comedy show.
Service and Staff

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The washy washy guys were hilarious with their singing. Did not see any grumpy personalities. They all seemed very happy. Cruise director was out and about. Saw him several times around the ship. Always upbeat and happy. The smaller ship seemed less stressful for the staff. They sometimes seemed overwhelmed on the big ships.

I like the smaller layout after sailing bigger ships. I have a terrible sense of direction. Please bring back the fish carpets lol. They used to have carpets with fish swimming to the front of boat. So helpful.
Ship very clean. A couple of public toilets kinda messy but they kept up with it.
Cabin / Stateroom

Typical balcony cabin. Not much drawer space but lots of hangers. Bathroom small but I used the spa to shower most of the time. But room bathroom adequate. There is a conditioning shampoo and a body wash. I use the body wash but bring my own shampoo and conditioner.
Everything kept clean and neat with daily cleaning. Bed seems comfortable to me but I can sleep on anything lol.
Ship tip
Enjoy yourself. Plenty of food and activities. We booked specialty restaurants early but they weren’t super packed so you can probably get in at odd times. The boat was at full capacity too. Pack your patience for immigration and tendering at Bar Harbor. It is absolutely worth the wait.
Loved Bermuda. Can’t wait to go back. Horseshoe beach beautiful but I think tobacco beach is even prettier. Still so much to see there. I figured 3 days was plenty. I really enjoyed docking 2 full nights.
We stayed 2 days in Boston and had a blast. Did the hop on hop off trolley and really enjoyed our day. We stayed in the north side near little Italy. Fabulous food and walking distance to tourist attractions.
Super easy. We had already gone through immigration in Bar Harbor so just a matter of eating breakfast and going when they called our luggage tag color. Grabbed a taxi to airport with plenty of time for our 1:15 flight.
