Review summary

The cruise ship was beautiful and clean; and staff were very friendly. We liked that we only went to one port, which made it was very relaxing. The dining rooms food was okay. Cagney's was amazing! Internet needs improvement without charging the guests. Bermuda was so pretty but we would wait until the middle of May to go out of Boston again.

Process went smoothly, didn't have to wait too long in line. I liked that you picked a scheduled time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Dissappointed, previous cruises we always ate in the dining room. This time we only ate there for two dinners & two breakfasts. We felt that the main dining rooms' food and service was just ok. Seemed like the staff was very new, the service was slow and many mistakes were made. Our first breakfast, I had to wait a long time for hot water & tea, until the head waitress came to our table. Asked for a one egg benedict got two, forgot my potatoes, my husband got a whole plate of pastries instead one. The coffee is awful no matter where it came from. The buffet food was actually very good and hot with many choices. We ate at Cagney's twice; the whole dining experience was excellent. Outdoor bars close way too early and the smoking section had the best part of the ship!

Onboard Activities

The hot tub was always full of children.

Service and Staff

Our room steward was excellent, our room was always clean :) Waiters were good, but seemed very new to their job. Internet tech was either not there, at a meeting, at lunch or had a ridiculous long line. Definitely should add another position

Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was great, clean, lots of room, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good sized; only wished it had some kind of night light. The balcony was perfect, we saw sunsets and it would shield us from the wind. Great for sunbathing too.

Ship tip

Leaving from Boston, I would wait until the middle of May to go. We had four days of very cold & windy weather.

Leaving from Boston was fantastic, it took us 40 minutes to get to the ship.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

It's a pretty port but needs more restaurants and shops where the ship docks. We took a private tour of the Island

Disembarkation

Took longer getting off than getting on
