Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise. Stops in Canada were beautiful. We had to be flexible - changes in itinerary were made due to a hurricane shortly before our trip. Our advice is to book your own flights regardless of the deal - we had to travel on both ends of the cruise and this added costs.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Norwegian offers a great deal - $199 round trip airfare for 2 passengers - however, they don't arrange flights from many cities. We had to travel about 1.5 hr from our home and stay overnight in a hotel to get on our assigned flight.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Due to hurricane Fiona, one port was changed and a second canceled entirely. This left us with 2 days at sea - one more than planned. Too cold for swimming, and not interested in Bingo, trivia or shopping, this left limited activity possibilities. We watched a movie, did a lot of reading, and many deck laps. They were long days. We appreciated how the staff tried to adapt to the late cancellation of a port.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed Seaside Duo, Valentyna and Cameron.

Service and Staff

Our room steward Eugene was especially helpful.

We understand that Quebec is not a large city - nevertheless, should mention that the taxi and Uber waits were quite long. We were extremely dissatisfied that our flights home were booked from Montreal, necessitating a car rental. If the cruise ends in Quebec, why shouldn't all passengers be able to fly home from there?
