Review summary

I also wasn't told I would be charged $16/ guest per day for gratuity. We also were never told we had to pay over $200 for crappy limited internet. The 1st cruise we went on was better. They did not charge for soda, the drinks were bigger and cheaper. They also did BOGO drinks. Every night they had different food. We did not get charged gratuity fees. And we only paid $4.99 on the internet.

Food and Dining

The website said "open bar" and I still had to pay for liquor and soda. Only thing we got was 3 different juices. And the complementary buffets served the same food every day. I also wasn't told I would be charged $16/ guest per day for gratuity. We also were never told we had to pay over $200 for crappy limited internet. In this field I'm very disappointed

I keep reading reviews about bad/slow internet service...just don't buy it, if you really need to have it on your vacation, maybe you should not be on vacation at that time...vacations are meant to disconnect from your job...

Thanks for your review

Appreciate your feedback. As others have said; the cruise lines charge standard gratuities. Perhaps your last one had it included in the original price. We’ve never had good internet. Hope your next cruise is better!

WOW all the things noted are disclosed at every turn. Internet plan and terms usually again at acceptance/login. I really hope the cruise and ocean beauty was not completely ruined by your oversight.

This complaint really needs to go to your Travel Agent. All of these disappointments did not need to happen.

Gratuity information is everywhere (actually most cruise lines subscribe to auto gratuity’s) apparently you didn’t read carefully been that way for years. Actually they raised the amount within last year or so.

Evidently you did not do any research! Next time you will be aware

I'm sorry the internet didn't work...I hate when that happens especially after you pay them.... Usually NCl has good internet, especially on thier breakaway plus ships.... but all the cruise lines are hooking up with Elon Musk to make constant internet possible in the future

Thanks for the review. It’s always important to read all of the details of what it is and what is not included in the basic cruise fare. The daily gratuity charge is listed in the cruise contract everyone must agree to when booking, on the website and in the cruise documents sent to everyone for boarding.
