Review summary

We've had such a good time we put down deposits for another cruise.

Embarkation

Really easy. Even with all the Covid protocols we were on the ship 15 minutes after we walked into the terminal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the dining rooms were wonderful. We ate breakfast and most lunches in the Cafe and the food was great. Specialty dining was amazing. I'll give Cagney's 10 stars!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Everything we went to was fun. Never enough chairs at the pool but that's due to room, not availability. Wish my grandson had been able to go to Splash Academy (for my sanity, not his!)

Service and Staff

Have no complaints about anyone. Super friendly staff.

Ship Quality

I brought hand sanitizer and masks and felt very comfortable without using them. We sanitized before going into restaurants. (I may never get the washy washy, happy happy song out of my head.) Railings were washed several times each day. We went to the Bahamas with NCL 3 years ago and the sanitation before Covid was so good I don't think you changed much besides having the staff wear masks. No concerns with sanitation.

Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was great. We had plenty of room. Cleanliness was great, too. Only complaint was the TV. The channel with the map was missing and that was fun to check in on when we cruised before. Also, didn't there used to be a weather update channel? The swells and rain were pretty bad at times and it would have been nice to see where we were in the weather pattern.

Ship tip

Check and see what silliness is going on before you embark. Wish we'd known about the ducks so we could have brought some.

Ports of call

Boston, Massachusetts Did not visit port

I live there.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

The weather caused out night trip into the Bermuda Triangle to be cancelled so we went to the Crystal Caves. They were awesome. Never got onto the beach after that because the wind and rain were pretty bad. Got to do a tour of the island because we couldn't g to the beach so no complaints.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
There was confusion around whether we should put our bags out that last night. One cabin did, one cabin didn't, and we had to wait around for the luggage of those that did.
