Review summary

I loved the upgrade to the Penthouse and all the amenities. I was disappointed in the pool sizes and the crowdiness, but the overall ship was wonderful. The restaurants, the bars, the entertainment and the staff was outstanding!

Embarkation

With the Penthouse, we had priority embankment. It worked, we went around most people, but did not meet our concierge until the next day.

Food and Dining

I did not care for the buffet. The steakhouse and Italian restaurant were phenomenal. I thought the main dining room for breakfast was wonderful. With the upgrade, we ate at Moderno for breakfast and lunch and thought that was fantastic. The first day, the lines were long for drinks, but after that it was easy to get drinks. The drinks were made perfectly and had a wide variety of drinks on tap and brands.

Onboard Activities

The spa was great, the rock climbing walls was closed. One rim on the basketball court was bent and unusable. Bingo was $39, a but expensive for 3 games. The pools were small and always full.

Entertainment

Shows were wonderful. Bands at the pool were great and the live music at the various bars were great. The karaoke was the best I have ever experienced!

Service and Staff

Romel, our butler, was outstanding. He was always there, he truly made out trip! Anoop, our concierge, arranged for our reservations and assisted in disembarkment. I thought every employee was kind, professional and helpful!

Ship Quality

I thought the ship was well maintained. The back of the boat had black soot from the ships exhaust, but overall I was very impressed with the overall care.

I loved it, very large inside and out. The decor was modern, room was very quiet and dark when the curtains were closed. I would stay in that room again!
