Review summary
This was our 6th cruise and our first on Norwegian! There were so many reasons we loved it! The bed was so comfortable, and the room, 9516, had lots of storage for someone who always packs too much! Our room steward ,Jeff , surprised us with towel animals every night and kept the room spotless! The ship is very clean and they are very proactive at maintaining high standards of sanitation. There was never any line up at the dining room, Summer Palace! What thrilled us was the ship's beauty ! We knew it was known for casual dining, but the Summer Palace was the most beautiful place we have ever dined!! Also, the beef and salmon were so tender that you could cut the meat without a knife! ! The desserts were incredible! We liked the choice of afternoon excursions as well as early morning ones. We enjoyed the 24/7 midship free dining room --less walking. Also, we loved the giant back grill which provided the same food as the buffet ,but we could sit outside in a wet suit without going into AC to get it. There were lots of tables everywhere too. The entertainment was excellent including Jersey Boys and the ship's singers were wonderful! I cannot think of one negative on the Pearl. It allows people to be themselves either casual or dress up , and the staff were always so kind and helpful!

The Summer Palace Dining Room was incredible --so beautiful ! If you want casual and modern , use Indigo. The food was so good that we never went to the extra charge restaurants!
