Norwegian Freestyle Is Our Way To Cruise

Sail Date: February 25, 2007

The Norwegian Pearl is perhaps the most beautiful ship we've ever cruised. Just launched this past October, the Pearl provided us with spectacular arenas to please our every taste. The Bliss Lounge was truly spectacular with its two bowling alleys, disco and private lounges decorated in plush colors throughout. The crew extended exceptional service in lounges, restaurants and staterooms. We fully enjoyed our daily activities which included trivia, shuffleboard, sunning, the casino, and the art auction, which was so expertly handled that we thought we were on a tour in an art museum. Freestyling allowed us to dine at our normal time - 6PM - with the greatest varieties of restaurants to choose from: Italian, French, Asian, TexMex, American, Japanese, etc. Our favorite was the French Le Bistro restaurant, which afforded us the most dramatic attention to food and service. The entertainment was varied and most enjoyable and included the most professional performers anyone could ask for. Our early embarkment was the easiest ever and allowed us to enjoy the most of our first day. Disembarkment was also effortless as we took full advantage of the express mode. We highly recommend the Norwegian Pearl and look forward to cruising on her again.

Pros: The ease of embarkment and disembarkment and the dining varieties

Cons: Would have appreciated more daytime movies

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Ship Quality
Brand new, the Pearl leaves nothing to be desired.
Food and Dining
The varieties of foods meets the expectations of everyone.
Cabin / Stateroom
Staterooms were always clean and tended to immediately.
Service and Staff
The crew was charming, helpful, and seemed to be enjoying their experience as much as we were.
Professionalism is the word to describe the variety of entertainment on board.
Cozumel, Mexico
Since we are not really into shore excursions, we stayed for a short time in port but enjoyed the shopping experience.
Belize City, Belize
Belize City offered less than Cozumel.
